OFFICE POLICIES
Payment Information: Payment for services can be made in cash, check (made out to JAD Psychology, LLC), Venmo @Jill-Drossman, Chase QuickPay with Zelle (under Jill@drjilldrossman.com), credit card, or HSA/FSA cards. Payments can be made on a weekly or monthly basis and a detailed receipt (called a “superbill”) will be provided for you to submit to your insurance company on a monthly basis.
Cancellations: I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. I do my best to reschedule cancelled appointments within the same week if possible. If we are unable to find an alternative time within the same week, I do charge for sessions that are cancelled with less than the 24-hour notice.
Length of sessions: Initial sessions are 55-60 minutes. Sessions after that are 45-50 minutes.
Contacting me: Email is the best way to contact me: Jill@drjilldrossman.com. Please be aware that I will take all the reasonable precautions to maintain the security and confidentiality of email and text information sent and received. Upon our initial meeting, I will ask you to provide consent to receive email communication from me, text communication if applicable, as well as consent to receive invoices via email.
Privacy Practices/HIPAA: Your private health information is completely confidential unless you give me written consent to discuss your information with someone you and I designate for the purposes of your care. An exception to this rule may be made if I believe either you, or someone else, is in danger. Upon our initial meeting, I will ask you to review and sign a detailed explanation of your HIPAA rights as well as give me consent to release information to anyone you and I deem necessary for continuity of your care.
After our initial meeting, you will be invited to my “Client Portal” where you will have the opportunity to review and sign that you acknowledge all of the above consents and office policies.
